Do Dutch museums hold Nazi secret?

Were 139 pieces of art, now on display in Dutch museums snatched from the Jews during the Holocaust? That's the question after a review of Dutch art acquisitions from 1933.

A review of Dutch art stretching back to 1933 is seeking to establish if 139 pieces on display in museums across the country were snatched from Jewish families during the Holocaust.

Works with gaps in their ownership records during the Holocaust years are of particular interest to the team.
