Kidnapped engineer Francis Collomp returns to France

A French engineer who was held hostage by Islamic militants in Northern Nigeria for nearly a year, has returned to France after managing to escape his captors.

Francis Collomp, 63, was seized in the December last year, when roughly 30 gunmen stormed his compound. He managed to fee his cell while his jailors were praying.
