On duty with avalanche dog patrol

A team of mountain gendarmes has been training the next generation of rescue dogs in the Alps to find avalanche victims buried under snow.

The BBC's Christian Fraser spoke to General Giorgis Alain, above the village of Montgenèvre on the Franco Italian border, about the importance of reacting quickly.
