Ukraine crisis: Kiev's Independence Square centre of chaos

The Ukrainian capital Kiev is in the grip of the worst violence since protests began, three months ago.

At least 18 people, including seven police, are believed to have been killed.

Fires are burning in Independence Square, the heart of the protests.

Daniel Sandford explains what is happening in the square.
