Ukraine crisis: Orthodox church-goer fears ethnic conflict

In the centre of Kiev is one of the biggest and oldest Orthodox Christian monasteries in the former Soviet Union, the Monastery of the Caves.

Many Orthodox Churches maintain close ties with Russia - and the Monastery of the Caes is no exception.

A significant centre of pilgrimage, it is used mainly by Russian speakers and ethnic Russians.
