Call for release of 'missing' Ukranians
Ukraine's acting President, Oleksandr Turchynov, has called for the creation of a national guard to help defend the country, amid rising tension with Russia over the status of Crimea.
The Organisation for Security and Cooperation in Europe has said the referendum on the region leaving Ukraine to join Russia, planned for Sunday, would be illegal.
The organisation has also called for the release of all Ukrainians who have gone missing around the peninsula since the weekend.
