Ukraine crisis: Inside Crimea referendum polling station

Tensions remain high in Ukraine as diplomatic efforts intensify ahead of Sunday's controversial referendum in the mainly ethnic Russian autonomous region of Crimea.

Moscow has defended the right of Crimeans to decide whether or not to join the Russian Federation.

James Reynolds has visited a theatre in the Crimean capital Simferopol which is preparing to become a polling station despite threats by the West to impose sanctions if the region is annexed.
