President Obama: Russia 'miscalculated' Crimea reaction

President Barack Obama has said Russia's leadership "miscalculated" if it thought the world wouldn't care about its actions in Ukraine.

Speaking at a news conference with EU leaders in Brussels, Mr Obama said Russia was mistaken if it thought it could drive a wedge between the US and the European Union.

He also said co-operation between nations on economic sanctions against Russia had been excellent.
