Ukraine: Government in Kiev must step down, say protesters

Ukraine's interim authorities have appealed for national unity and promised to meet some of the demands of pro-Russian protesters in the east of the country.

The move came after armed militias refused to vacate buildings they had occupied in at least nine cities.

Daniel Sandford reports from Donetsk.
