Ukrainian government 'must be open' to views of all
The Ukrainian government must be "open" to the views of citizens of all languages in Eastern Ukraine, Oleksandr Scherba has said.
His comments come as pro-Russian separatists in the regions of Donetsk and Luhansk have claimed victory in a "self-rule" referendum.
Mr Scherba, ambassador-at-large in the Ukrainian foreign ministry, added that Ukraine must hold "full political dialogue" without prejudice.
First broadcast on BBC Radio 4's Today programme on Monday 12 May.
