Ukraine elections: Voters go to the polls

Elections are taking place in Ukraine in the first full parliamentary election since its former leader Viktor Yanukovych, fled the country in February.

In spite of a ceasefire, fighting continues between government forces and Russian-supported insurgents in the east of the country.

Petro Poroshenko, the current president, called the snap ballot after he accused the previous parliament of blocking reform.

David Stern reports from Kiev.
