Italy needs EU help to patrol Mediterranean for migrants

Thousands of migrants attempt to cross the Mediterranean sea to get into Europe, often on boats that are overcrowded or unsafe.

Many need to be rescued by the Italian navy, which is now demanding that Frontex, the EU's border protection agency, does more to help.
