Francois Hollande 'will not stand if unemployment does not go down'
French President Francois Hollande has said he will not seek a second term in office if he does not deliver on his promise to cut unemployment.
The president's five-year term in office runs until 2017, unemployment in France is at 11%. Mr Hollande made his pledge during a 90-minute television broadcast on TF1 in which he was quizzed by citizens and presenters.
