Moscow protests: Putin critic among hundreds detained
Russian opposition leader Alexei Navalny has been detained at a protest in Moscow, hours after being given a suspended sentence for fraud.
Navalny had earlier called on his supporters to join the protest in Manezh Square, and had tweeted a picture of himself en route to the rally.
A further 200 people were detained by police, according to Pavel Bandakov from the BBC Russian service.
