Roma baby refused burial in French cemetery

A mayor in northern France has said a baby girl from the Roma community can be buried in his town, after a neighbouring mayor refused the family permission.

Human rights activists had expressed their anger after the Mayor of Champlan Christian Leclerc, said there was no room for the child in the local cemetery.
