France to receive 'massive' anti-terror boost
France is to create thousands of new jobs as part of its plans to combat terrorism, the country's prime minister has confirmed.
At a news conference on Wednesday, Manuel Valls said that the initiative was "massive" but that it was "necessary to guarantee the security and protection of the French people."
The move follows the fatal attacks at satirical magazine Charlie Hebdo and at a Jewish supermarket in Paris.
