France: Motorway thieves steal $9.5m worth of jewels
Armed robbers in France have hijacked two vans carrying a reported €9m (£6m; $9.5m) worth of jewels.
Police officials say the attackers threw the drivers out on the A6 highway which connects Paris and Lyon before driving off with the jewellery.
Two burnt-out vans were later found in a forest nearby.
The BBC's Lucy Williamson has more.
