Colosseum in Rome bans the use of selfie sticks

Selfie sticks have been banned at the Palace of Versailles in Paris, the National Gallery in London and the Colosseum in Rome.

Tourists are being asked to refrain from using the device to take photos of themselves against Rome's famous backdrop for fear it may get damaged.
