Juncker wants 'fair deal' for UK in EU negotiations

The president of the European Commission has said that he wants a "fair deal" for the UK and hopes it stays in the EU.

However Jean-Claude Juncker ruled out any "major treaty changes" relating to freedom of movement across the union.

David Cameron has spoken in the past of his desire to renegotiate this aspect of the treaty, to reduce the number of immigrants into the UK, particularly from eastern Europe.
