Anger and bemusement at Russia's blacklist

The European Union has strongly criticised a decision by Russia to ban 89 European politicians, officials and military leaders from travelling to the country.

An EU spokesman said the list was "totally arbitrary and unjustified".

There are nine British people on the list, including Nick Clegg and the former foreign secretary Sir Malcolm Rifkind.
