Thousands of children have been fleeing war and poverty in the Middle East and Africa to set out on dangerous journeys to apply for asylum in Europe. Around 2,000 are estimated to be in Greece.

The BBC’s Yogita Limaye spoke to one boy in an Athens shelter. He didn't want to reveal his face, but he shared his story.
