Remembering the Empire Patrol disaster

Thirty-three people died in the Empire Patrol disaster of 1945.

One of the survivors - Maria Chroni - remembers the catastrophe through a poem written by her mother.

Now it is the turn of Maria's grand-daughter, also called Maria, to learn about the events of that tragic day.
