Irish fan Jamie Monaghan collects supporters' award from Paris mayor
The mayor of Paris, Anne Hidalgo, awarded the prestigious Medal of the City of Paris, known as the Grand Vermeil, to both Republic of Ireland and Northern Ireland fans.
Jamie Monaghan from County Louth was chosen to accept the award for Republican of Ireland supporters.
He suffers from a rare genetic condition called trisomy 9 mosaicism, meaning he cannot walk or talk.
His dad Philip who accompanied him to the event said:
"I am thrilled for my son because he is disabled and he is a big Irish fan, it is a great honour for him."
