Jersey Royal potatoes earliest in 130 years

Jersey Royal Potatoes are being harvested earlier than ever before and will be reaching shelves in the UK by the middle of February.

Trevor Le Maistre, sales manager of the Jersey Royal Company, said the mild start to the year was the reason the crop was ready earlier than any other time in the last 130 years.
