Jersey politician takes over care of parish clocks

A Jersey politician has stepped in to help look after a parish's clocks, after no-one came forward to take over from the retired expert.

Former transport minister, Deputy Kevin Lewis, looks after the clocks in his parish of St Saviour and has been asked to help in other parts of the island.

He says this is a very busy time of the year as the clocks are set to go forward for daylight savings time on Sunday.
