Chile mining rescue shaft drilling begins
Rescue teams attempting to free 33 miners trapped underground in Chile have started to drill a hole, video filmed on Monday shows.
The large drill is boring a "pilot" hole which will allow rescuers to dig down 700m (2,300ft) to the San Jose mine.
The initial opening of the hole is expected to take weeks, before rescue teams begin to dig the main rescue chimney.
