Obama praises Colombia for attack on Farc stronghold

President Obama has congratulated the authorities in Colombia for their successful attack on a stronghold of the Revolutionary Armed Forces of Colombia (Farc).

The guerrilla group's second-in-command was killed in a military air strike this week prompting the US President to say that Colombia could now see a period of "continued stability".
