Chile mining minister describes rescue plan
The first man to be freed from the San Jose mine in northern Chile is expected to reach the surface late on Tuesday, Mining Minister Laurence Golborne says.
Rescuers are making final preparations to begin an attempt to rescue the trapped men one-by-one via a steel capsule.
Mr Golborne described the rescue process to media gathered at the mine site.
