20,000 protest against drug violence in Mexico City

More than twenty thousand people have gathered in the centre of Mexico City to protest about the large number of deaths caused by drug-related violence and the government's response to it.

The rally in the capital's main square completes a four-day protest march led by the poet, Javier Sicilia, whose son was killed earlier this year.

Julian Miglierini reports.
