Mexican nursery teacher honoured for bravery
A Mexican nursery teacher has received an award for bravery after she calmed down her students during a shoot-out near her school.
The teacher, Martha Rivera, filmed the scene in the classroom as bullets were flying outside the school in the northern city of Monterrey. She told the four-year-old children to lie on the floor and, in order to distract them, asked them to sing a song.
Five people were killed in the shoot-out.
