Peruvian stock dumped after leftist wins election

The leftist former army officer, Ollanta Humala, has won the presidential election in Peru after his rival accepted defeat.

The incumbent president, Alan Garcia, congratulated Mr Humala and urged all Peruvians to support the new government.

The right-wing candidate, Keiko Fujimori, recognised she had lost by a margin of about three percent.
