Drumming a message of peace into disadvantaged Caracas children

A social project run by a non-profit cultural and musical association in Venezuela is hoping to keep disadvantaged children out of trouble on the streets of Caracas.

The Madera Group donates special drums made from PVC to schools and community groups so that children can learn the rhythms of their county's African descendants.

BBC Mundo's Abraham Zamorano reports.
