The second anniversary of a gangland truce in El Salvador is approaching and the murder rate is rising again.

For years, El Salvador had the highest murder rate in the world.

In 2011, jailed gang leaders in the Central American country agreed a ceasefire. The murder rate dropped by almost half within a year.
