With the world's eyes on Brazil for the opening of the World Cup, protests could still mar the event - and the country's international reputation.
Transport workers in Sao Paulo have called off a strike planned for the opening day of the tournament, but employees at Rio de Janeiro's airport are staging a 24-hour walk-out.
