Residents of Blumenau in Brazil have strong ties to Germany
Over 3.000 people watched the World Cup Final in the town of Blumenau, in southern Brazil.
The locals organised a mini-Oktoberfest for the occasion.
Blumenau and other towns in the State of Santa Catarina were founded by German immigrants in the 19th century, and their descendents still nourish the links to German culture and habits.
