US-Cuba: 'Failed policy of isolation and confrontation'
New US measures to ease travel and trade restrictions on Cuba come into effect on Friday.
They are the next step in President Barack Obama's plan to re-establish normal relations with the Communist island, after more than 50 years of hostility.
Tomas Bilbao from the Cuba Study Group told the BBC he welcomes the change to the policy.
