Brazilian politicians investigated over alleged oil kickbacks
Brazil's chief prosecutor has asked the Supreme Court to open an investigation into a kickback scheme at the state-run oil company.
It will centre on 54 people, including many politicians, and their relationship with Petrobras.
Investigators claim that construction companies paid bribes for contracts and some of the money ended up in the hands of the ruling Workers' Party.
Julia Carneiro reports from Rio de Janeiro.
