Rio 2016: 'We won't rest until lagoon is clean'

Officials in Rio de Janeiro are removing tonnes of dead fish from a lake in the city centre, which is due to host events at next year's Olympic Games.

Local politicians say it is a natural phenomenon but many scientists say it is a result of pollution and waste.

Mario Andrada the communications Director for Rio 2016 said: "We won't rest until we make sure the lagoon is clean".
