Venezuela's disputed new assembly has family photo

The government of Venezuela has inaugurated a controversial constituent assembly, despite fierce criticism at home and abroad.

The new members of the 545-strong body posed and sang for the cameras, some holding pictures of late leader Hugo Chávez and the independence hero Simón Bolivar.
