Attempt to play 525 simultaneous chess games

An Israeli grandmaster is hoping to break the world record for playing simultaneous games of chess.

Alik Gershon is taking on 525 opponents in Tel Aviv's Rabin Square.

He needs to win 80% of the games he plays to beat the previous record of 500 games.
