Egypt protests: More expected after Mubarak statement
Protesters in Cairo's Tahrir Square have reacted angrily to a statement from Egyptian President Hosni Mubarak that he will stay in office for now and step down only after September's election.
Hundreds of thousands of anti-government protesters are expected to gather again for the 18th day of demonstrations.
Speaking on national television last night Mr Mubarak said he would give some powers to Vice-President Omar Suleiman.
