Syria protests: People begin 'day of defiance'
Syrian activists have taken to the streets following Friday prayers for what they are calling a "day of defiance".
Although tanks have withdrawn from the city of Deraa, security forces have gathered in other urban areas, including the capital Damascus.
There are reports that in the city of Homs at least five people have already died in today's demonstrations.
Wyre Davies reports from the Jordanian-Syrian border.
