No necessity for Iran-Israel war, says Sir Richard Dalton

The former UK ambassador to Iran has told BBC Radio 5 live Breakfast that there is no "absolute necessity" for war to protect the state of Israel.

It comes as the US Secretary of State, Hilary Clinton, condemned attacks at Israeli embassies in India and Georgia.

The Israeli prime minister blamed Iran but Iranian officials have denied responsibility.
