Blast hits oil pipeline in Syrian city of Homs
An explosion has hit a crude oil pipeline feeding the embattled Syrian city of Homs, eyewitnesses have told the Reuters news agency.
It comes as Syrian media reports that President Bashar al-Assad has decreed that a referendum on the new draft constitution will be held on 26 February.
The BBC's Jim Muir in Beirut says it is hard to see how a referendum can be conducted following the latest unrest.
