Kofi Annan: 'Violence is getting worse' in Syria

The international envoy, Kofi Annan, has told the UN General Assembly that while his peace plan has been accepted by Syria it is not being implemented.

He said violence in the country was getting worse.

Mr Annan expressed his horror and condemnation at the killings in Qubair village. He said those responsible must be held to account.
