Protests in Egypt over Mursi powers
Protests for and against President Mohammed Mursi's decision to grant himself sweeping new powers are taking place in Egypt.
In Cairo protesters against Mr Mursi are gathering in Tahrir square, while those supporting him are outside the parliament building.
Offices of the president's Muslim Brotherhood party have reportedly been attacked in the cities of Port Said and Ismailia.
Protesters in the Mediterranean city of Alexandria stormed the offices of the Muslim Brotherhood's political wing, the Freedom and Justice Party.
