Egypt to investigate anti-Morsi complaints

Complaints against Egypt's ousted President Mohammed Morsi and members of the Muslim Brotherhood are being investigated, the country's public prosecutor's office has said.

The allegations include spying, inciting killing protesters, attacking military barracks and damaging the economy. It did not say who had filed the complaints.

There are fears that the authorities' action weakens the already remote prospects for a reconciliation between the interim authorities and the Brotherhood.
