Syria: Tension builds as US vote on action draws closer
Secretary of State John Kerry has said the US has evidence that the Syrian government used nerve agent sarin in a deadly attack last month.
The BBC's Jeremy Bowen in Damascus says civil war is grinding on and tension will build up as the vote on military action in the US draws closer.
Many Syrian Christians have fled Damascus ahead of anticipated attacks.
