Al-Jazeera journalists deny charges at Egypt trial

Three journalists from al-Jazeera have appeared in court in Cairo after being charged with broadcasting false news and backing Egypt's Muslim Brotherhood.

Egyptian-Canadian bureau chief Mohamed Fahmy, Australian reporter Peter Greste and Egyptian producer Baher Mohamed denied all charges.

The BBC's Orla Guerin said there were "moments of drama" in court on Thursday.
