Syria conflict: Aleppo gripped by barrel bomb fears

A BBC team has witnessed the devastating effects of air bombardment on Syrian civilians after gaining rare access to rebel-held areas of Aleppo.

Journalist Ian Pannell and cameraman Darren Conway were the first Western broadcasters to access the city this year.

Emergency rescue teams told them that residents were living in "danger and fear" and reported thousands of casualties.
